Payment Options & Insurance Reimbursement
Psych Assess does not accept insurance reimbursement as a means of payment, as most insurance plans do not reimburse for psychological testing anyway. However, for clients wishing to submit these costs to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement, a superbill with all necessary information for filing a claim will be provided to the client upon request. All evaluation fees are due at the initial intake session or at the point of scheduling the initial assessment. Check, money orders or credit/debit cards are accepted. No cash please.
Assessment Costs
Please note that while an estimate of assessment costs can be provided prior to the initial appointment, the actual assessment need will be determined by a professional during the intake session and a more accurate cost estimate will be available at that time. Thus, the first step in the assessment process is to schedule the initial intake session. Following the intake session, all assessment fees must be paid in full to schedule the client for completion of the assessment battery. Appointment cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or no-shows will be subjected to an $80 no-show/late cancellation fee (see below).
Appointments & Cancellations
In order to begin the evaluation process, clients must the first schedule an initial intake session. Due to high demand for psychological assessment services, a $80 deposit is required via credit card to schedule the initial appointment. Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the cancellation fee of $80. Upon attendance of the first session, the $80 deposit is applied to the cost of the intake session.
